Hospital, again

Up at the hospital again today. I do wish different departments would talk to each other.

It's back to the renal unit today for a PET test. It involves loading a bag of dialysis fluid last night, leaving it in until this morning. Arrive at the unit and that load is drained out and another 5 litres loaded in, which will be left in for four hours. At first loading then after 2 hours and again after another 2 hours samples are taken. These will indicate how good my dialysis is working and whether i need to have my prescription changed. That also do blood and an ECG, blood pressure and temp at intervals.

Almost a full MOT you could say.
