City Meadow

Dad's shopping and visit day.  He was part way through his ironing when I arrived but soon gave that up when I asked if he wanted to go for a walk.

A quick hop over the main road and we're in this stunning little meadow. You would think we were out in the countryside but we're not. We're in the middle of Stoke-on-Trent. Bucknall Park is on the site of an old city farm but part of it has been transformed into a meadow. It's full of buttercups at the moment and we even saw a single orchid too.

I caught up with a few friends this afternoon via Zoom. And spent time editing photos to create photo books of past holidays. A fairly productive day!
