Alien Worlds

I am a big sci-fi fan and I remember a great episode of Star Trek years ago when the Enterprise was in an infinite loop in parallel universes.

The premise was that at any time, decisions are made that send you off into a parallel universe, while the other decisions co-exist. Or thereabouts anyway.

We make these decisions daily, and at times have déjà vu. Is that a parallel universe? Like yesterday, I had my haircut, and I wondered that morning what had happened to XX who used to be there years ago. Blow me down, when I walked in there she was, I hadn't seen her for nearly 5 years, and we picked up the conversation as if it were then.
