Favorites

The Family challenge for this week:   What is your favorite spot/place/thing at the Island (where we can’t go yet) ?

All but one contributed via text (so I added an extra to make 10..I couldn’t decided anyway!)…)  It seems evenly divided between water and land/forest.  A few who love the dock and boat and being on the water or at least on the beach especially at sunset…which is spectacular this time of year from here. We’ll miss the solstice .   Someone loves driving the golf cart, the view from the top of the hill (and the exercise required to get there)  maintaining the many trails.  Someone loves their bed and I expect you can figure out the studio lover.      Very fun.   


The border is opening just a tad…to family members of people there…not to the likes of us Americans to check on our property yet…. but we’re hopeful it won’t be too long.     If Washington State doesn’t spoil things with a big coronavirus spike from all the protest crowds…..which are still happening and not without a few incidents.  but I like to think progress… I think Seattle is officially at phase 1.5 now ..5 people can be together in a group, maybe a haircut soon….
