Watching the birdie.

This is a very grainy photo, I didn't want to get close but I'm very excited about this little lady and her man. They are Spotted Flycatchers and are nesting in my tumbled down outbuilding. The last time I saw these birds I was a child and there was a pair nesting in a robin nesting box my grandfather had made. I was fascinated that birds from Africa were nesting at my grandparents and now they're nesting at mine.

Today in the post I got the details of one of the two donkeys that RF and I are sponsoring at the donkey sanctuary in Sidmouth, Devon, that's exciting too and we are both looking forward to the time we can go and see them.
