The Kursaal Building

This is the part of the Kursaal building in Southend on Sea, England. It was one of the world first custom built Amusement Parks opened in 1901.
Originally it  contained a circus, ballroom, arcade, dining hall and billiard room.
Most of the area now is housing but this Grade 2 listed building is all that remains. I believe it was an Amusement Park until circa 1970.
