cracked wheat

I was out taking pictures to blip, when I get a call to come and help my cousins crack wheat for the pigs Louie is going to raise this year.
Joe (far left) is scooping wheat into the barrel to auger the wheat into the wheat cracker (technical name for this machine) ;) it drops between two cylinders spaced about 1/8" apart. then is augured into the buckets that Louie and Justin take and dump into barrels.
Great fun.
