In search of Damselflies

Having failed to get a walk on Saturday I managed to meet up with another friend and walk through some local meadows. Although the weather was a bit dull we saw plenty and it was good to be out in the fresh air listening to the birds. I'm not up on damsel flies but hopefullly I've looked up correctly and this is a Blue Tailed damselfly but I'm happy to be corrected if I'm wrong. The extra is a Banded Damoiselle - male? which was rather stunning but not so obliging with its choice of places to settle! We also saw a deer, white throats,reed buntings, a heron, a moorhen chic, and what I think is a large male skipper see extra but again correct me if I'm wrong!!!!
