Groot Haasdal

Large hare valley
Until 2015, there was an impressive giant sequoia in the North of Groot Haasdal. It was damaged beyond repair by storms in April 2015. The municipality has made a virtue of necessity and commissioned an artist from the remaining tribe to make the artwork Large Hare

Haasdal is a hamlet in the province of Limburg, in the regions of Heuvelland and Parkstad, municipality of Beekdaelen. Until 1981 municipality of Schimmert, in 1982 to the municipality of Nuth, in 2019 to the municipality of Beekdaelen. The hamlet is divided into the parts Groot Haasdal and Klein Haasdal.
