Another Bee

Well I am officially bored - today I dismantled the cooker hob and cleaned it all! Not often that gets done!

For a few days I have been desperately trying to get a decent bee shot - and today I got a couple of reasonable ones. The main blip shot I took after watching John Gravett’s YouTube  lesson on macro photography. It was taken with the 6D, 105mm macro lens and a Canon flash unit with a ‘strap on’ reflector. Found it difficult to get a decent exposure and am not sure why! The extra shot was taken with my Lumix LX5 and my little LED panel. Didn’t notice the photobombing ant until I loaded up the shots on the computer.

They both look so much better in large.
