Iago's Wine from Georgia to the #Loire

Met Iago Bitarishvili a wine maker from the Republic of Georgia at The Pénitents wine salon in Angers today. He delighted us by showing us the 3 centuries old amphora that his small 3000 bottle production is fermented and stabilized in. The white wine we tasted called Iago's Wine was
vinified from the Georgian vine species "Chinuri"

Situated in the village of Chardakhi, Mtskheta Region, the family have owned the vineyard for 50 years but are the first vineyard in Georgia with an organic certificate.
