Inevitable Transitions
On this one small branch of a blueberry bush in our back yard, I could see the transition from white flowers to aging brown flowers and on to emerging fruit. I hope we'll get to eat some of the ripe berries later... all too often, the birds get to them first!
The extra shows buds on the wild blackberries held at bay by our backyard fence. The white, fuzzy buds will soon open and will be irresistible to honey bees.
Phil's blip today records a sad event in our backyard garden. In contrast, his June 5 blip has me smiling.
