What a week. Trump fueled fury, with his constant bigotry, his storm trooping of peaceful protesters, his encouragement of police aggression and his violent speech and tweets. Not to mention, an ugly new fence separating the White House from Lafayette Park.

After some unfortunate looting incidents, the week ended with large, peaceful protests in cities all over the USA.  We can replace our windows and handbags, but we cannot bring back George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, Eric Garner, Trayvon Martin, Emmett Till, and too many others.

The massive gatherings for racial justice across the country and now the world have achieved a scale and level of momentum not seen in decades.
