Pasta party

As you may know, runners needs carbs, so where better to have the annual running club dinner than in a pasta restaurant? Forty four ladies turned up and we all commented that it was hard to recognise each other without our customary lycra, hats, gloves etc.

We went to a restaurant in Brighton called Donatello's. It's the sort of place you'd never go to for a quiet night out as it's full of large groups celebrating birthdays and other occasions. We had two enormous courses of good basic food, plus wine, for £10, all served by incredibly hardworking and remarkably cheerful staff. What's not to love?
