Into The Unknown

Garden Gate

It has been very cold here in north Cornwall but we have been for a lovely bracing walk on Fistral beach. After a hot drink in the warm cafe we headed off in cars up to Trebarwith- a tiny place with a magnificently dramatic beach, high slate cliffs and slippery slate rocks marbled in pink. This garden gate was just by the pub- a mad collection of bouys all strung up to make an archway.
We are now back in the warmth of our room and looking forward to our Seafood Restaurant dinner. I ate far too much last night and was up with indigestion so must be a little less greedy this evening. I want to make room for the kippers tomorrow at breakfast. Heaven. I hope you are all having a lovely weekend too and some of you may be watching the rugby?!
