Into the sunset

A brisk and beautiful late winter's afternoon on Clent Hill.

With the sun setting over the Welsh hills, Jess legs it up the path and seems to be stepping off into the wide open universe.

Worth making the effort for the walk rather than staying in. After a very fruitful day planning Lent and Easter services with a creative team of people, it was good to get out into the Worcestershire countryside for a walk on the western side of Clent - looking out towards the Malverns and The Wrekin.

Up by the standing stones a little community of walkers and dog owners just stopped and watched as the golden orb dipped below the horizon. A stunning and silent end to the day.
