Foxgloves

Cycled down to the allotment first thing. The recent rain had brought out the weeds in abundance.

This foxglove had snuck up behind the cherry tree and I didn't have the heart to weed it out. Looking along my row of fruit trees, I'm beginning to doubt whether the cherry was really sold on dwarf root stock, it's a good two foot taller than the other trees. Will have to get creative with the pruning in the autumn!
