Doune castle

The highlight of our day was a trip over to Doune castle for today’s blip photo and a walk along the river Teith.
 
Technically its not derelict- well half of it is, so much as closed because of the pandemic.
 
It reminded me of comment a friend made the other day that the highlight of his day was the arrival of stoneground flour and yeast for his newly discovered passion of bread making.
  
So many of us are discovering unexpected pleasures in our new shrinking world.
