Patches!

At last I got started on cutting the squares for some patchwork I want to do. It's the first time I've used the rotary cutter even though I've had it for a few years. The only problem was, I made a template from thick card but the cutter kept shaving off the edges making the square not quite so square as when I started! I had to keep evening it up with a ruler.
That's all I've done today really.

The birds have been going crazy in our garden feasting on aphids - I'm just leaving them to it, they're doing a grand job!

Now we're going to finish watching the film we couldn't stay awake till the end of last night - Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children.
