Watching the birds while having my breakfast this morning.
Rain didn’t stop the play.
A black bird was having a wash and sat on the back of the garden chair.preening ( see extra)
The sparrows were very busy feeding their young, who are now bigger than their parents.

Still cold and rained on and off all day.

Just had a visit from Granddaughter and DIL.
Brought us two chocolate cup cakes, and picked up my shopping list for the supermarket.
Lovely to see them if only for a few minutes.
Too cold to keep chatting in the garden.

Have been asked to write something for our Yorkshire Sommeliers Magazine, which is going to be online this quarter.
Has taken me ages. Good job I haven’t a deadline to meet.
Not something I would like to do on a regular basis.

The barometer has swung over to fine, so hope the weather will warm up next week.
Don’t mind the rain, but hate the cold.
Stayed indoors today.
