Flowers by the beach

The sun came back today and the wind had vanished. Izzy and Tilly came this morning and stayed for the afternoon. 
We went for a walk down to the beach with them and decided we would help them to make a photo map of the way to Moulin Huet beach from our house. Izzy had a notebook on the way down and was mapping the path and the things she saw along the way. Tilly had a camera and she took photographs of all the interesting things we saw. So we have many photos of different flowers, some interesting gates, trees, An old cottage with no roof,  a cafe and an abreuveur before we got to the beach.

Sadly the beach cafe was closed but the girls took photos through the Renoir picture frame that is there. We stayed a little while and then returned home. This time Izzy had the camera and Tilly the notebook. Interestingly the total number of steps for the total walk was a little under 5,000 as measured by the fitbit. The steep climb back made the cardio switch in :) The blip was taken just before we got to the beach.
We started to map the walk with the tiny photo prints we made but didn't finish it this time. The children go back to school tomorrow which will be a change after 11 weeks of learning at home in the mornings and being free to please themselves in the afternoon.
