Buzzing around

Our Civic Service this morning and we were joined online by some of our local councillors. The children who took part all did well. 

My colleague and I had ordered our pub lunch take away, which we missed out on last Sunday. Unfortunately the plan had been to eat in the garden together but the weather wasn't good enough today. I dropped hers off and then returned home for mine, it was delicious. 

I could have fallen asleep this afternoon but the camera enticed me out to the local country park for some fresh air and a short walk. The birds were singing happily but were all hiding from me so I spent ages photographing bees instead, trying to rival SueT's recent shots - not yet! Out of all the ones I took I was pleased with these two. The extra is probably technically better but I quite liked the main one.
