Fighting cows come home

These beautiful cows were carved with a chainsaw from a giant sequoia tree that was felled in our local park. We have watched them take shape, weather, get damaged and get mended over a period of about 18 months. Finally, they have been transported to their permanent home, and they now stand next to the huge stump of the tree that they came from. Koj and I took a rather damp walk to visit them this morning.
