Baby wren

Today's the day ……………………… to find your feet

I'm sure this wren chick was not long out of the nest. 

It certainly didn't have much of a clue how to be discrete and keep away from humans - much to the consternation of its parents who were trying to look after it.  It just opened that yellow-rimmed beak and chirped loudly to be fed, all the while poised precariously on a step - or half way up a roof.  It must have been a nightmare for them.

And someone needs to tell it which way round its feet go ………………...
