Poppy Field
Yesterday (no blip again... I’m really slacking :-(() was cold and wet and in the evening we did have our family quiz. Although I’m not sure if that will be the last for a while as some of them (the boys) are getting a little bored of them. We will see.
Seeing someone’s blip during the week and another yesterday of a poppy field and being kind enough to say where it was, about an hour from us, I asked Mr C if he fancied a drive. Always, well most of the time, obliging he was happy to and we had some deliveries to make to the children and being in that sort of direction meant we could do it too.
It was quite busy at the field , lots of young families wanting photos of the children with the poppies. After taking lots of photos ( lots of extras :-D))) we drove to Josh’s first and enjoyed a cup of tea in the garden with the sun beginning to warm up. Half hour later it was on to Rebecca’s where enroute, a red kite flew down in front of us to capture something from the grassy central reservation. It all happened quickly but was brilliant to witness. Another tea at Rebecca’s (in the garden) but I was all teaed out by the time we got to Sim’s. A lovely round trip of seeing all the children and a bonus that it was sunny until on the way home and not it’s back to being cold and wet.
I couldn’t decide on which to blip so there are one or two extras ;-D))
