A forking disaster!
Well the afternoon started off well enough down at the allotment. We all joined together and started getting it ready for the Spring, mainly some general tidying up and cleaning beds.
Layla brought along her brand new, shiny stainless steel, birthday present, ten year guaranteed, approved by the Royal Agricultural Society, gardening tools for an inaugural dig. As I was working on one of the beds she rather generously, I thought, let me use the fork before she even had a go herself.
No sooner had I started than the handle snapped! Not five minutes into the dig.
Oh well - I've just sent an email asking for a replacement. Obviously it needs a new fork handle!
