Button, Button, Whose Got the Button?

Dear Diary,

That would be me!  I've got so many buttons; boxes and jars of them!  When I acquired my mother's box of sewing notions these three cards of buttons were in it.  They are quite old as you can see from the 15 cent price on one of them.  I just couldn't bring myself to use them.  I love vintage advertising and I love the cards as they are.  I sewed them on the front of note cards but then I thought I might frame them for the studio.  It also made me think of all the games we use to play as kids with buttons.  The title one was a favorite on the playground of Broad Street Elementary School circa 1955.  Doesn't take much; just push the button and back I fly!
