Stately home - with sheep

Instead of walking in the rain, I decided to head off in the car (fairly early) to check out the Canalside Farm Shop. It opens at 9.00 and I now know that their car park can’t be fenced off, I can go to Essex Bridge crazily early.

The produce in that shop is fabulous, and not really expensive. I didn’t pick my own strawberries, but bought a couple of the punnets. Wonderful sausages. Fresh and delicious vegetables.......

On my way home I pulled over to take a few photos of Tixall Gatehouse (one of the places Mary Queen of Scots was held.) 

Sheep were enjoying the quietness. It’s not like Llandudno, but I think they’re having fun.
