The Edge of the Wold

Clouds from both sides

The view of Whitbarrow across the estuary, between the clouds just before sunset.  A blip to end the silence before it becomes another protracted absence.  Aren't we supposed to have more time during this lockdown period?

The main highlight of the day was a FaceTime call with my aunt and uncle in Australia, whom we haven't seen for a few years.  And wonderful it was to see them both in their home in Caloundra.  They said it was a cool day, only 14 degrees.  That would be a balmy, sub-tropical day here in Cumbria now that the weather has reverted to something more normal for this time of year, after the sunniest May on record.
