Hardly Bearable
What a great day...Our first car trip since lockdown and we went to Greytown, a small (But famous) town about 70 km from Wellington and about 1 1/2 hours in the EGolf.
The town is famous as it won an award for the prettiest town in NZ in 2017 but the real deal is that all the business folk got together to create the funkiest shopping street and it is a wonderful place to spend a day. The Boss chose the window of the Gelarto joint for today and apologises for the window reflections . Toby the Chihuahua was also enjoying the day outside a local Pub with his parents in extras and The Bossess found she still remembered how to drive after all the time in lock down. Contact tracing was in operation and the two main apps in NZ are now fighting it out for popularity as the Govt recommended one seems to have issues with reading QR code's that retailers print and the other one has now included the Govt QR code in its operation. No new cases after 16 days and Level one is in sight which is essentially only border control.
