Well, that was fun

Early doors to B&Q where I scored the last bits needed for cleaning the balcony, plus some other bits and pieces.

Yes, it's strange to be in a shop... But it's amazing how quickly you get used to the new circumstances.

So today we cleaned the balcony, then I did a bit of additional gardening (some new plants), then cleaned the windows, and then sat out there taking the last of the sun on the balcony (4pm through 4.30pm). We also had the second of our 'Saturday pasta' weekends, making a wonderful venison ravioli, with asparagus and various other bits. Much fun to make; huge pleasure to consume.

Afterwards, we sat outside for a while - in my case wrapped in a blanket. It's been nicer weather than we expected, and one part of the balcony is definitely my happy space, but let's not exaggerate that it's actually possible to sit out there without additional clothing or coverings.
