Improvised scarf

I'd knitted this small scarf ages ago but due to a shoulder injury limiting the tops I can wear, I needed it to be widened around the neck and back - so out with the crochet hook to add to it + the fringe for interest.  It keeps
my neck warm with scooped necklines so that was what was needed. I've never combined knitting and crochet before, have you?
