Very lovely to wander round Kenmore and Drummond Hill with S. And then good phone calls with some other local outdoor providers. Everyone's worried "it's going to be there winters in a year". At the same time outdoor proffesionals really are made for this stuff - resiliant, creative, willing to take a risk, flexible, great at problem solving, able to just crack on and work hard. Consensus is that sharing and working together is going to be key. It's nice to be in a place where there's an understanding that if we all help each other we'll all come out better rather than an every man for himself race to the bottom. 

Maybe it won't work out. But maybe seeing if it does will be the best adventure ever.
