Dark skies!

On the way home from spending some time drinking tea and chatting with RF the skies went dark, the wind became squally and rain blew across the countryside. I took a slightly different route to take a photo across the Test Valley.

During the day I had a 4 hour battle with a climbing and rambling rose that had broken it's fastening and was blown off the side of the customer's house. It's an ongoing job but new fastenings are now in place.

Before breakfast this morning I saw an adult and juvenile Great Spotted Woodpecker at my bird bath, quite a treat.
