Inside, looking out..

...at a real shower of rain. No need to do the watering ourselves this evening. Relatively short and sweet but heavy and much needed. The garden definitely looks fresher as a result.

We went to deliver a birthday card to a friend this morning. It turned into a near 3hour walk along roads which have undergone much new development and across fields where our boys loved to ride their bikes. We passed our Toby Carvery which looks so empty and neglected.. none of its usual beautiful hanging baskets. We passed the home where our dear mum lived for four years (she would have been 103 today!)

Eventually home and well ready for the very fresh baguettes we’d bought on the way.

I’ve made two more dresses today. A total of 14 now!
