Monty

The nursing home that we pass on our way to the allotment every day recently started 'Monty - the Claremont caterpillar' on their front wall, made from stones and shells initially painted by the residents, but now with many contributions from neighbours. Above him is the remains of the VE day bunting which they'd made from crocheted squares.

A lot of the stones are painted with rainbows, uplifting thoughts, etc, but my favourites are "Old Leith Team" and "' 'Mon the seniors" (see extras)! Very Leith. Persevere!
