Cygnet.

Once again we were out sharp, this time over to the Kelpies for a quiet walk before the rest of the district woke up.
While walking round the Lagoon, we saw a pair of swans out on the water. Remembering that we had seen them on the nest with brand new cygnets a week ago, we wondered how many of them had survived. I am delighted to tell you that seven cygnets were happily paddling along with Mum & Dad. Above is one who posed quite prettily for me.
