A day at Portland Bill - lots of blue

Beautiful to see the sea again and lots of interest at the Bill today botanically , ornithologically ,insect wise and on the seas!
We passed a group of twitchers on the Chesil who had apparently seen a red footed falcon ! Cue - lots of huge cameras pointing into the distance with social distancing forgotten ! :))
Along the coast there are five huge cruise ships moored here during the Lockdown ( see extras ) .
We drank our coffee watching this Little Rock pipit jumping from rock to rock and there were lots of larks shooting up into the sky then fluttering down by the rocks too .
It was a joy to see so many familiar wildflowers again .
We walked along the cliffs then went back to our favourite spot and I had a little doze with the sound of the waves . Our last sighting was of a tall masted sailing boat on the horizon .
It was strange not to celebrate Clap for Key workers this evening.
