Daisy, daisy
..........give me your answer do.
I picked these from the garden as the plants were a bit leggy, and I wanted them to bush out.
Sometimes simple flowers are the most beautiful.
A very mixed weather day.
We cur our walk short as it started raining heavily. Needless to say the sun came out just as we got home. However within minutes it was raining again.
Won’t complain though as we need the rain.
Treated ourselves tonight to our first takeaway.
A delicious meal from Prashad.
( Only a mile from us.)
I rang through our order, and at the allotted time pulled into the carpark.
A young man came to the car window, ( full PPE mask) asked our name, and went inside. Straightaway came back with our order and put it down by the door, and quickly left.
The food was excellent.
A tasting platter for 2.
Mains.
Chole. A rich and complex melt -in -the -mouth chickpea curry, with tones of cinnamon & star anise.
Paneer Masala. Marinated textured paneer, cooked in a fenugreek- infused olive & tomato base.
With Roti and Garlic Naan.
We certainly enjoyed it, and now feel very full.
As I post my Blip the wind is getting stronger.
Hope the garden survives. Runner beans are getting blown to bits at the moment.
No sunbathing this weekend, but enjoy.
Take care and stay safe.
