Sunlit Trunk

More overnight rain (nice) which eventually stopped around 6 a.m. so I popped out soon afterwards for my walk with Finlay. It was a tad chilly at first but I soon warmed up once I got moving. On the way back the sun began to break through and at one point this trunk was lit up and visible through the branches and leaves. I managed a couple of shots before the sun had moved around and the patch disappeared. Right place, right time (again)….
