This is a griffin trap.

Having heard that griffins like shiny things a trap was built to catch one. We looked online to find a picture of the mythical creature - a lion with eagle wings. Shiny things were in a tin on the other side of the trap.

The extra is a drawing of a griffin with a tiger body, and a letter to the griffin.
