Not sitting

Murray asked to go out last night at 2am. Could be his tummy, the noise of rain, or both.  I'm not good with interrupted sleep.
After breakfast did the Friday shopping run.  A lot of workmen about and shops being renovated/repaired/revamped and a continual whine of electric saws and hammering.  WH Smiths appeared open for business and saw Boulds café operating taped barriers entrance to socially distance while serving.
Wore mask for entire shopping 'experience'.  Those poor frontline  workers.  My sunglasses steamed up then my reading glasses while looking at list.
On way past former primary school workplace saw 2 former colleagues - one still employed, other retired art teacher.  New book recommendation - Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens.
After socially distanced conversation head3d home, noticing reception children not socially distanced at all.  It's a tall order!
