Spring life from Splatt Bridge
I was concentrating on the foal in the paddock but was aware that there were several centres for one's attention. The foal was a delight as it scampered about in the paddock, much like a lamb gambols, with leaps in the air and then sudden spurts of running.
The swans saw the possibly picnicking family as they swam up the canal under Splatt's Bridge and made a beeline for them. Their cygnets looked very healthy and were being taught one of the many ways to get food in a modern world.
