Theatre of light

Dawnpatrol together with Ron, Herman and Niels today.

While it was still dark and rainy we all met at 07.15am at the borders of Drenthe and Friesland, near Aekingerzand. After a short walk we all went our own seperate ways, for some playtime with sand and light.

I had a bit of a weird feeling with this sunrise. While it was getting lighter by the minute, it seemed as if the colors stayed high in the sky and never reached the ground. So I concentrated mainly on the sky, and made several pictures with a low horizon.

Then suddenly all the colors changed and natures theatre of lights took off. Alle the lights on the mainstage went on. I had a great time.

Ron and Niels left early, Herman and I went on for a while and then went after a cup of coffee with applepie. Not an easy task on a Saturdaymorning in Appelscha, I must say. But, believe it or not, even that mission ended succesfully.
