Moth

Got up before 7 intending to go check out the waves, but when I found this lovely large moth sitting motionless outside on my windowscreen, well  . . .    which would you rather have . . ?   Exactly, I said!!   It's just less than 5-inches in wingspan and about 2-inches in length.   Hoping someone can help identify it?   I tried, but got no matches.

Edit - It has stayed all day in the same spot and left sometime after I last checked on it about 6:30PM.    Really hope it just needed some rest.
