Coffee! Pastry!

‘Click and Collect’ at Sainsbury’s carpark this morning. I wonder if they will continue with this service, because it’s a great service.

The slight drizzle of the morning soon evaporated, and we had steamy sunshine for most of the day. Gentle rain this evening, so just as well we’re not out clapping.

Again, I was lured out (I’m easily lured) for a walk with the prospect of a £1 soya flat white. And possibly a pastry... We walked down to the Prêt that was closed the other day. They’re not busy at all, because all the offices round about them are still empty. 

We walked round and back through the Meadows, though the others took the long way round from there, I came straight home. (8,344 steps) Plenty far enough for me.

This is a nice wee pavement decoration near us - in fact, near Pretzel’s house. It might disappear tonight if the expected rain comes. The gardens certainly need it.
