Winter has returned.  much heavy rain overnight and a considerable drop in temperature. The garden needs the rain, I need the sun. 

Only minimal gardening was done today - a few more teaks on taming the lilac tree,  It is interesting looking at previous years that some plants - the clematis montana and the rock rose were further on in flowering than this year.  Was a colder, wet spring the cause.

I ticked off a few things on the list including photos for Friday before a Committee meeting, which unlike previous ones was like pulling teeth.  The highlight of the morning was seeing one of the local fox cubs come gambolling through the garden then back along the wall to home.  Interesting there was a news item about the changes that people are seeing in urban foxes and their behaviour. 

The heating went on this evening and I continued to tidy up the SD card while watching the last part of 'Killing Eve'.  C fell off his bike and has bashed his knee.  Advice was proffered and taken.
