Paint it black

I took a break from posting that the birds seem to have found the bird feeders on Tuesday as it seemed somewhat trite in the face of #blackouttuesday

How sad that in a day and age where we might think what a long way we’ve come as a human race, that this conversation about racism still continues. That racism is still even a “thing”.

I simply don’t understand it, but I suppose I have my parents to thanks for bringing me up that way. It’s the same simple message that I am instilling in my own children that we are all the same underneath, we are all simply human beings so, see the person, not the colour of their skin.
