2020 Tuesday — Jars

We drove into San Luis Obispo early this afternoon to go see our friend Dorothy as she is at her mom’s house/farm cleaning it out so the property can be sold. Her mom died in February.

The farm house kitchen has dozens and dozens of Mason jars that are filled with fruit that Dorothy’s mom had canned years ago; all of that fruit has now gone bad in the jars. Dorothy is dumping it out and the pigs are eating it. Then the jars get put in the dishwasher.

We were there to get some of the jars to take them to Stephanie our soup chef.
