A rather damp and drizzly walk for Little B today- I almost got 10k steps!

It's hard to get up earlier again, but it was SO lovely to see the children today (all 8 of them!) and we had a nice morning. The difficulty is in finding them things to do....

We read a story, did lots of singing, made worry dolls and played outside, but when there's no sand, water, wooden toys etc available, we were left kind of wondering exactly what they are supposed to play with...

This isn't Year 1 or 2, where they can crack on with working at tables, reception is all about playing! I'm worried this won't feel right for them. As one little boy said to me today "Miss x, it's not really very fun out here"....They seemed really pleased to see each other again though, and I listened to a lot of their chatter about the virus, which was interesting to see what they understand.

I came home after lunch and finally ate, yawned my way through the afternoon, and then had therapy this evening. It was a positive session, and we talked a little bit about my interview on Monday. I hope it goes ok.
